  • Jenny's place is amazing!! My wife and I spend a wonderful 6 nights here, with our two little kids and baby. This was the perfect place to stay if you have kids. The toys that were provided for the kids were a lifesaver. Also having a pack and play for the baby was great-- and it was all set up for use when we got there. The location is just stunning, waking up every morning to see the waterfall in the morning light was simply amazing (this was definitely my favorite part). I liked that this place was located a bit away from the main part of town, but not too away that we couldn't easily access the town's amenities. The bus stop is right out front (5 minutes to get to town), and it's less than a 20-minute walk to Lauterbrunnen town center-- depending on how fast you can walk-- we took our time with the kids. The apartment was very clean and fully stocked. We made dinner every night here. We even attempted to make a cheese fondue on one of the nights (they had all the equipment) I think it turned out great. The wifi was a bit slow when we connected a few devices--- but you don't come all the way here to spend all of your time connected to the internet. This place is perfectly situated to explore the Jungfrau region. We were able to see all of the main sites and still have time to just enjoy the surrounding area. The flower park near Murren (one short cable car) was great for the kids and had a nice cafe. If you are thinking about car vs train to explore the area. I would drive into Lauterbrunnen and then get the Jungfrau Regional train pass since it will cover all of the trains, cable cars, and funiculars in the area. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, and especially if you are traveling with kids.

  • Jenny’s place was amazing, and so was she. Any questions, she got back to us right away. Her place was even more beautiful than the pictures. Lauterbrunnen is a gem, and I’d say Jenny has one of the nicest places there - right in front of the waterfall and beautiful views all around. Our boys loved the toys and playing on the patio. Plus it’s only a few minutes walk to town or the park. We hope to come back some day!

  • Jenny was the best host and made sure we were taken care of by the local property manager and staff. The location was perfect as a home base to explore the entire Jungfrau region and coming back after a long, fun day felt like coming back to a home. The views from the property was spectacular and was a joy to wake up to every morning - I'll be thinking of those views forever. Would gladly come back in the future and highly recommend to family and friends that want to explore the Swiss Alps.

  • This is a fantastic apartment, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were here in July 2019 for 6 nights. The most thrilling part about the apartment is that Staubbach falls is just right there! There is an excellent view of the falls from both bedrooms, the kitchen, and the patio. It's a very comfortable, welcoming space. This apartment has everything you might want: it's spacious, it's quiet, it has a well-stocked kitchen, wifi, and cable TV with a Blu-ray player. We especially appreciated the washer and dryer. The patio is lovely - partly covered and partly uncovered. It's a wonderful place to sit and watch the rain and the clouds. Communication was excellent - Jenny responds quickly and clearly. She also provided excellent, super-clear instructions (for arrival, for how to use the TV, etc.). Lauterbrunnen and the surrounding area are stunning. There are many beautiful hiking trails in the area. It's an easy walk into town from the apartment. We absolutely loved our stay, and we really hope to come back and stay here again someday!

  • We have now stayed in Jenny’s apartment several times. It is always immaculate and extremely well equipped. We never tire of the stunning views from the terrace and it is a lovely comfortable place to return to after a day exploring the area. The location is peaceful but within easy reach of everything you need. We will definitely come back to Jenny’s apartment. Beautiful.

  • This was my 4th airbnb stay in Lauterbrunnen, all at different places. I love the setting of Jenny's place because it is in a small complex facing the huge waterfalls and impressive mountain scenery. It is also next to a campgound that has a great, casual restaurant and small store to pick up food and essentials. The walk into town is lovely, about 10 mins. The apartment has a cute Swiss style to it, and was very clean. The previous airbnb's I had stayed at in Lauterbrunnen/Wengen were sleek and modern, but I enjoyed the Swiss alpine feeling to the place for a change and the lovely terrace. I would certainly recommend Jenny's place as a wonderful choice if you love to explore in the Lauterbrunnen area. Many thanks again!

  • Words can’t explain what an amazing location this Airbnb is. Tons of adventure to be had right out the front door and a great place to just hangout and relax. Close to town and the campground Jungfrau’s little store had everything we could need to keep a family of four going for our six day visit. Definitely will be back.

  • If you are planning to visit Interlaken or any area around it, you should take Jenny’s place. It is even better than pictures and description ! What made this place amazing besides location ,cleanliness .. etc is the personal touches from the owner. She has provided EVERYTHING you can possibly need ! I have brought a wrong electrical plug and i thought i have to go all the way to Interlaken to search for one, but we have found one which saved us in one of the drawers. She had provided an umbrella so we didn’t have to buy one. If we ever visited Lauterbrunnen again we will definitely be staying here.

  • This valley is a magical place and Jenny’s apartment is a wonderful base for exploring the mountains, mountain villages, biking, hiking, skydiving, whatever calls you! The apartment is very clean and comfortable after a day of activities. It is reasonably close to the train and Lauterbrunnen had enough restaurant choices even in this off season before summer. I would highly recommend staying at Jenny’s apartment, it is great value for the amenities offered.

  • This property was very comfortable, clean and well kept. Kath provided a warm welcome upon arrival and Jenny was just a quick message away and very responsive. The location is absolutely breathtaking. Being from Texas, I felt like my eyes just couldn't widen enough to take it all in. Switzerland is a beautiful country and I highly suggest that if you're planning a trip to Lauterbrunnen or nearby, that you take the opportunity to stay at Jenny's.....only if you're a good, considerate, clean guest though....because I plan on going back one day! :)

  • This is a very nice apartment in a quiet place with great views of the mountains and Staubbach falls. It’s only a 1-2 minute walk from the bus stop and has easy access to the trains and cable cars to get around the Jungfrau region. There are restaurants and grocery stores near by. The kitchen was well equipped with a variety of utensils and some staple ingredients. We stayed here for 5 days, but wish we had stayed longer as there is a lot to do in this area. Jenny was prompt and helpful in answering all our questions before we arrived. Will definitely like to stay here again.

  • We had a fantastic experience in Jenny's apartment, everything was perfect, the apartment is very well equipped with all you need to make your stay perfect. The views from inside and outside are marvelous! Lauterbrunnen is a small and amazing village that makes you feel as you were in a movie scene. The worst part of the stay was the leaving day, because we wish we could live there forever, since we can't we are already planning the next visit to Lauterbrunnen and for sure at Jenny's apartment!

  • This beautiful flat is exactly as advertised - clean and charming. The location is spectacular for easy access to valley hikes and walks, as well as the village center, train station, groceries and other amenities. The kitchen is well equipped (though I think a fondue pot would be a lovely addition) - and the welcome basket of breakfast goods was such a treat, and a great provision for a very late arrival. In all, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

  • Die Wohnung ist wunderschön und hat super Ausblick und eignet sich gut für Familien mit Kindern. Die Gastgeberin Jenny ist sehr nett und hat wirklich an alles gedacht! Sie kriegen sehr viele nützliche Informationen vor der Anreise. Die Lage im Erdgeschoss ist super mit dem Kinderwagen zugänglich. Supermarkt, Arzt, Busstation sind in der Nähe. Die Verbindung mit dem Zug nach Wengen ist sehr praktisch zum Skifahren/Schlitteln/Wandern. Wir waren für eine Woche Skiferien in Februar und waren in beiden Gebieten Schilthorn/Mürren und Wengen/Grindelwald skifahren. Sehr gelungener Urlaub!

  • This was our second visit having first stayed here in 2010. The apartment is fantastic - everything is of a high quality and spotlessly clean with a homely feel. The nice touches such as the welcome pack and toiletries really help make the apartment stand out. The location is great as it is so peaceful with super views up the valley and the bus stop close at hand although the walk into the village centre is easy. There is lots to do locally - I'd give personal recommendations for the First Flyer, Trotti bike hire at Bort, the crazy golf in Wengen and trips up the Schilthorn and to Jungfraujoch. I know this is somewhere we'll come back to again. Thank you Jenny.

  • ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC
    We enjoyed every single minute in this wonderful tranquil apartment which is beautifully clean and very well appointment and also feels like a home from home. The views are stunning, especially from the patio where we ate as many meals as possible just looking towards the mountains watching the para-gliders and base jumpers, spectacular. The location of the apartment is superb – it takes a 60 seconds to walk to the bus stop with a very short trip into Lauterbrunnen for the shops and train station and the connections to Wengen, Murren, Interlaken and beyond. We will definitely return as soon as we can. Top Quality 5-star rating.

    Location, location. With a vista in every direction this fully equipped apartment was ideal for four adults and is ideally situated as a base to explore this incredible valley.   • Stunning!
    Beautiful apartment with beautiful views, perfectly situated in Lauterbrunnen. We had a fantastic stay here with my father who uses a wheelchair. The apartment is on level ground with easy access. Disabled wheelchair users even get to use the cable car and train to the stunning village of Murren for free!! We had great weather in June and even just sitting out on the patio in temperatures of 30 degrees with a glass of wine looking at the snow covered mountain peaks was thoroughly enjoyable.

  • Comfortable and Great Location
    We had a lovely week here. The apartment was very comfortable and the location was most atmospheric with wonderful views to the rear and side. Walking from here was fantastic. The Schynige Platte to First walk and the hiking route around the Upper Lauterbrunnen Valley from Stechelberg were heavenly and we will definitely have to return to do them again.

  • My family and I had a lovely stay at this apartment, which was clean and really well equipped. It was a great location, lovely view and easy walk into town. We managed to do several great walks, as the train and cable car system are all so efficient, the scenery is magnificent. We got a Family card so the kids travelled free and a half price card for us, which worked really well.We did have some rain but still managed to fill our days with visits to Berne and the Reichenbach Falls and the Trummelbach Falls, which were amazing. We loved it here and really hope to return as it all worked so well. Would have no problem recommending this apartment. Jenny was also very helpful.

  • Great location and great apartment.
    My husband and I were in Switzerland for the first time (having travelled much of the other European countries in the past 6 years) this year --- we are endurance athletes and had been saving the mecca of all possible vacations for 2012, his last year of residency. The beauty of where this apartment is situated, in a valley that is quaint and not far from busy/touristy Interlocken, was perfect. A few restaurants, easy trails right from the front door and a coffee shop where other people are going over their adventures from earlier in the day or planning their next one ... perfect. I called it the "Boulder, Colorado" of Switzerland (both are quaint, nice, clean, and full of adventure). The condo/apartment, itself, was wonderful. I felt just as comfortable there as I did in my own home. In fact, we called it "home". We will 100% stay here again on our next trip to Switzerland ... or maybe we'll buy one of the units ourselves if ever one is for sale and be neighbors!!
